Returns and Refunds

Overview

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven days after delivery. This must be in writing, by e-mailing us at support@mintywear.uk

If you purchase a printed to order item, you can not cancel once the order has been shipped and a refund is only available if the item is faulty.

For return queries, please provide your name, order number, details of the product you would like to return, and the reason for the return. Should there be any damage to the product arising from delivery, please attach photographic evidence.

You will then be allocated a RMA – Return merchandise authorisation number.

 If we have already shipped your order, you will need to package the relevant item(s) and send them back to us at your expense, we will provide you with a return address following your contact above. If your order has not yet been shipped, but payment has been received, you will receive a full refund including shipping costs.

The goods must be returned to us in original condition with any tags still attached and with the original packaging. You have a duty of care towards goods purchased which includes those being returned. This means that you must ensure that any goods being returned are packaged in such a way that they will not be damaged in transit

Please note that we may reduce your refund of the price to reflect any reduction in the value of the products, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. For example, if you have opened the packaging of a product and as a result we cannot re-sell the product at full price.

Once we have received the products back from you, we will give you a refund for the cost of the product (subject to any deductions as set out above). Your refund will be by the method you used for payment. You will receive your refund within 14 days from the day on which we receive the product back from you.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@mintywear.uk 

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
